Fresh Agave Mexican Bar & Grill

I recently ate here and really enjoyed the food. The service was also very good and quick. The only slight down side for me is the interior wall lighting which is on the cold and harsh side unlike their exterior lighting which is warm and pleasant. A quick trip to the hardware store for some warm light bulbs would be an easy fix.

We popped in and saw a long line. We went to put our name on the list but were seated right away on the patio. It was a cool night but the heaters worked really well. We decided to order the the fajita combo platter for 2, which was a really good deal. The food came out pretty quickly, overflowing with beef, chicken, seafood and veggies all sizzling on the platter. We each got our own plate with rice, choice of beans, shredded lettuce and big dollops of guacamole and sour cream. Plus our choice of tortillas It was more than we could finish and it made a nice filling to a big burrito at home the next day! Our friends were really happy with their orders too, one who has a garlic allergy and was able to get a nice veggie burrito made to order.

We had ceviche and burrito for two which were very tasty. For drinks we had Fresh agave skinny and Spicy margaritas. Servers were very attentive. The place had a great vibe, offering indoor and outdoor seating. Would definitely go back.

Great place in town for the dinner. Busy but yet great food and service. Very friendly people and food beer and margaritas are mind blowing. I ordered spicy shrimp and for real it was bomb . Highly recommend if you in Palm Springs

The guacamole at this restaurant was one of the best I've had anywhere. It had a nice tanginess to it and it was chunky and creamy and so delicious. I think the only thing that could have made it any better was some chili peppers in the guacamole . I don't think they had that option though because I wasn't asked. Special shout out because they created a vegetarian menu here! It's sort of a secret menu you have to ask about it but the enchiladas were filled with zucchini and squash and broccoli and topped with cheese . They also offered the same option for their quesadillas, burrito , and other offerings. The refried beans on the side were also really great. I wanted to give this restaurant a 5 star , but I didn't really like that they up charged for credit card usage. A friend of mine works at a company that sells credit card merchant accounts and have been told that when you swipe the card in person you pay only 1-2% max. In no situation for card present do you pay 3%. The sign says it's to help offset credit card costs but in reality it makes a small profit from when you use your card.
